reflections during the residency programe:
"… the gentleman measuring the daily temperature in the modern art gallery once told us: “normally there are 20 C° here … but since 20 people are working in here, there are 23C° …”.
Those 3C° of life represent to me the shifting from a contemplative practice (the object) to a dynamic experience (the process) and in those terms we should understand the value of the Site of Art Residence, as a space and time where dynamics were generated.
a friend ask me to add this thought to the present blog ... since is a good friend i do not hesitate. I guess the sentence relates with the question of LIFE in our art practice.
As most of the things spinning in my head right now souds extremely banal and merely speculative, I won't stress further this idea.
